Single Tank Kits

These kits contain components to add to your engine to improve engine operation when running vegetable oil fuels.

The kits contain -

• A high quality electrically OEM type heated fuel filter (Bosch type filter head and genuine Bosch electrical heating module) which is plumbed in parallel to the original fuel filter.
  
  
  
• Quality heavy duty afterglow type glow plugs.  We use Bosch Duraterm plugs or other high quality OEM type.  When available we supply plugs which protrude slightly further into the engine in order to aid cold starting.
  
• Either a replacement glow plug control relay with extended pre and afterglow function or components to modify the operation of the original afterglow glowplug system (where fitted and suitable for modification).
  
  
  
• An electrically operated fuel valve to allow the original filter to be switched into the fuel circuit along side the electrically heated fuel filter to improve cold fuel flow or when the electrically heated filter begins to block..
• Professional grade electrical cable, terminals, fuses and protective convoluted tubing.
  
  
  
• Large diameter fuel hose and clear pipe to aid cold fuel flow.  The clear pipe also allows any air ingress to be observed.
  
• Sprung flat band type hose clamps to reduce the chances or air ingress and fuel leaks.
  
  
• All required hose and pipe connectors

Additional options include

• Fuel temperature gauge kit.  Numeric LED display gauges or mechanical gauges to allow monitoring of fuel temperature.  Sensor adaptors are available to allow sensor mounting to injection pump inlet or outlet, fuel filter or in-line with fuel hose or pipe.
  
  
  
• Fuel pressure or vacuum gauge kit.  Numeric LED display turbo boost gauge suitable for use monitoring fuel pressure or vacuum.  This allows flow restriction and filter condition to be monitored.  Adaptors are available to allow sensor to be attached at fuel filter ports, injection pump inlet port or in-line with fuel hose or pipe
  
  
  
• Reconditioned fuel injector exchange / service - only available for some engine types.  Where suitable alternatives exist improved design / self cleaning nozzles are supplied.
• Fuse / Relay /Switch unit - custom configured boards for centralisation of electrical components minimising clutter.  Switches can be used to operate fuel valves and electric fuel pumps (where fitted)
• Manual fuel pump kit - Filter mounted diaphragm pump allowing easy fuel filter priming.
  
  
  
• Electric fuel pump kit - High quality European made gear type fuel/oil pump.  This pump, specified for pumping viscous fluids, maintains a good flow of fuel to the fuel filter.  A suitably rated fuel pressure valve is fitted to the heated filter head to protect the fuel filters and injection pump from over pressure.  The addition of a switch provides easy fuel priming of both fuel filters.
  
  
  
• Restricted orifice air bleed connection for filter head to allow self bleeding of pump fed fuel filters.
• Engine specific looped fuel return kit - These kits recirculate the fuel returned from the injection pump reducing the amount of fuel drawn from the fuel tank.  The addition of this kit, in some cases, removes the self bleed function of the standard fuel circuit.
• Return to tank valve kit.  For use with looped systems. These kits using either manually or electrically operated valves to allow returned fuel to be routed back to the fuel tank when desired.

We do not currently supply but reccomend the addition of a suitably sized flat plate type heat exchanger fitted prior to the fuel filters
